I love these bottles with the new wide latch nipples but I hate how easy the bottom piece breaks when my baby drops their bottle even from a small height.
I can’t rate these very fairly but my baby is 6 weeks, we tried these a few times and he just fusses and won’t drink out of them. I’m sad cuz I thought these could really help him with his gas issues

At around 6 weeks, some little ones are still getting used to new feeding mechanics, especially with a bottle like ours that’s designed for baby-led feeding. Our nipples require both suction and compression to release milk, so if a baby is used to a more passive flow, there can sometimes be a short adjustment period.

My son loves the bottles its easy to hold and he would not use a bottle before this and now her uses it every day
So happy with my babaloo bottles, truly created with the most care and understanding of importance of feeding. Love the design and size.
He's Just as gassy using these as air gets inside while he feeds, have to keep taking the bottle away and squeezing the air out. Very annoying as its not cheap!! Especially from the UK with the 20 quid shipping!! Plus, they dont even pass the triangle test :(

Our bottle is designed to stay airless, but what you’re describing can sometimes happen depending on how the nipple is being used during a feed. Because our nipple requires both suction and gentle compression to release milk, if there’s compression without suction (like chomping or biting), a bit of air can enter. If that’s happening, feeding in a more traditional, slightly tilted position can help keep the system fully airless throughout the feed.

Perfect for babies with problems with acid reflux
Love the concept. But our baby wouldn’t take the bottle (or any bottle). No shade on the product but i have issues with the return policy. First, according to an email I received, once it’s been opened, you can’t get a refund. But how do you know if you (or your baby) likes the product unless you try it? Second, i don’t like that there is no customer service phone number to call and discuss this situation. Guess we’re stuck with bottles we can’t use. Hopefully she (our baby) will change her mind and eventually take them so our money wasn’t wasted.

My daughter refuses any other bottle and nipple! The wide latch nipple with this bottle is absolutely phenomenal. I was looking for a bottle that would help my daughter learn to work for her milk unlike the other bottles she used that dripped constantly (lansinoh). She immediately took to the Babaloo and now refuses the lansinoh. I love how simple these bottles are. The customer service of this company is phenomenal as well. Legitimately the only negative I have is that I broke two bottles by dropping from 3ft or less and the bottom portion broke. The customer service replaced both bottles free of charge. I will be a customer as long as I have a baby drinking from a bottle!

The wide latch nipples have been such a great addition to our feeding routine. The shape feels much more natural, which made it easier for my baby to latch comfortably right away. I love the concept of this bottle and the reusable silicone bag insert is perfect. I do feel that the baby has some difficulty extracting milk from the nipple. She was working very hard and it took forever for her to finish even an ounce. She is just one month old, and so I ordered the 5 oz bottle with y shaped nipple, which seemed the appropriate size based on description.

Thank you so much for sharing this we really appreciate it. We’re so glad you’re loving the concept and the silicone insert. Our bottle works a bit differently than traditional bottles. It’s designed to be baby-led, so milk only flows with suction and compression instead of a constant drip. Because of that, some babies may take a little time to adjust, especially at one month old.
Since you’re using the slow flow (“Y” cut), it might help to try the fast flow (“X” cut) for an easier feeding experience. We also have our wide-latch nipples, which have a more gradually tapered shape that some babies find easier to use.

I purchased all the wide nipple flows and they all work for a day or two and then they loose suction and allow air in the bag which defeats the purpose of no air and anti gas mechanism

After a roadtrip with normal glass bottles that he couldn’t hold himself and the meltdown of a century I was desperate for something different before our next long drive. These at worth their weight in gold!!! Not only are they easy to hold but he can hold the in any direction to feed himself. Absolutely would recommend!!
