Every baby feeds a little differently, and we completely understand that some babies may prefer a different latch shape or flow experience.

We did want to share that our wide-latch nipples were intentionally designed to support a more baby-led feeding experience by only releasing milk through active suction and compression. Rather than passively dripping, the flow is controlled more directly by baby and their feeding cues, which can feel different compared to more traditional bottle nipples.

We also wanted to kindly mention that modifying or enlarging the nipple hole can affect the intended feeding mechanics and safety of the nipple.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience we really appreciate it. Our bottle is designed to stay airless, but what you’re describing can sometimes happen depending on how the nipple is being used during a feed. Because our nipple requires both suction and gentle compression to release milk, if there’s compression without suction (like chomping or biting), a bit of air can enter. If that’s happening, feeding in a more traditional, slightly tilted position can help keep the system fully airless throughout the feed.
