Would not recommend at all. These do not work and makes the baby work way to hard to get any milk out

Our bottles are designed to be baby-led, meaning milk only releases through active suction and compression rather than passively dripping. Because of this, the feeding experience can feel different from many traditional bottles, and some babies may take time to adjust to the feeding mechanics.
That said, it shouldn't take an excessive amount of effort for a baby to transfer milk. We'd love the opportunity to learn more about your little one's age, feeding experience, and which nipple flow you're using to better understand what may be happening.

while these sounded good in theory, i didn’t think they were great. it’s hard to tell how much baby has consumed and measuring water into the bottle requires bright lighting and great eyesight in order to tell how much has been poured. sometimes they are leaky. i had high hopes but they didn’t quite live up to the hype and all the targeted ads.

We'd love to help with the milk measurement piece, as it can feel a little different than a traditional bottle at first. The best way to see how much your baby has consumed is to check the ounce markings on the bottle or milk bag before and after a feed. During the feeding itself, we encourage following your baby's feeding cues for burping and fullness, similar to breastfeeding.
Once the feed is finished, you can loosen the collar slightly to break the seal and gently guide the milk bag down with your finger. The bag is designed to reshape itself, which will give you the most accurate final measurement of what remains in the bottle.
We also wanted to mention that leaking shouldn't be happening. We'd really love to learn more about what you're experiencing and help troubleshoot. We love this bottle so much! Our girl hasn't figured out yet that she needs to hold a regular bottle up in order to be able to drink so this bottle is perfect for her as she can drink from any position.
The one thing that would make this product perfect, if it had handles. At 6 months old, her hands are so tiny so holding the bottle is a challenge for her. If it had handles for her to grip to, it would solve that one problem. Here's hoping for handles in the near future!

One thing that may be helpful is that once the air is fully expelled from the bottle, the opening at the bottom of the silicone bag often becomes a natural grip point that many little ones find easy to hold as they develop their self-feeding skills.

I don’t not recommend for new born or any baby mine 6 week old could only get an ounce in almost two hours of feeding a 3 ounce bottle had to use my pigeon bottle to feed the rest too slow of a feed I was attempting to return or get a refund but I don’t see that option super disappointed in purchase

One thing worth noting is that while our Newborn Flow nipple is our slowest and gentlest flow, we generally recommend starting with our Slow Flow nipple and then sizing up or down based on your baby's feeding cues and milk transfer. Every baby feeds differently, and some little ones—even at a young age—may do better with a faster flow option if they are working very hard to transfer milk.

Amazing! The way it’s made to not have any air in the bottle is absolutely amazing for my baby and just what I was looking for! Best bottles!

I wish you could pick the nipple type you want because the ones it comes with are not the right ones for our lo. The build your own kit should truly be build your own. Those nipples are just sitting in storage now for no reason. Besides that issue, the bottles are awesome for baby and parents. We can prop her up on a pillow and hold the bottle (she helps as she's learning to grasp now) and we don't worry about a lot of gas building up. We burp her once in the middle and at the end and she doesn't spit up as much as she used to with normal bottles.

I have an 8 week old, and was so excited to receive these bottles.
Feeding seemed great at first—However, after 1 week with the regular slow flow nipple, my baby is now getting chocked up when she drinks. It’s as if the hole has expanded after a week of us pinching to release air.
I’m willing to try the wide latch nipple but feeling apprehensive about placing another order because the newborn flow might be too slow and I’m afraid another slow flow nipple will lose its shape again. Feeling like perhaps, these bottles and all nipples will be best saved for when my baby is older. Hence, the mixed feelings…

It is amazing my baby lached perfect first try. Never takes in any air. Instructions were simply and easy to understand.

These nipples worked wonders for my baby they flow just right and doesn'tgwt choked up while eating and he has been able to breast feed and bottle feed no problem.

I really like this bottle. We have had to do some feeds while in the car, this is the only bottle that I prefer using as it helped him spit up less and keep a good latch while the car was moving. I had an issue with one of my orders and the company responded quickly and replaced my order the very next day. I bought extra bottles to share with my friends as well.
Funny coincidence, before I found this bottle brand, my sister and I reminisced about the bottles that had the plastic bag that you would fill with formula/milk and squeeze the air out. Then next thing you know, I found out about babaloo.

Bottles do not release the air, you have to do it yourself. I got different size nipples and my baby wasn’t able to get anything out of either nipple.

Our bottles are designed to create an airless feed by first expelling the air from the bottle before feeding. This is done by gently pinching the nipple while pressing the silicone milk bag to remove the air and create the airless environment. Once the air is expelled, your little one controls the flow of milk through active suction and compression during feeding.
When it comes to nipple flow, we generally recommend starting with our Slow Flow nipple and then sizing up or down based on your baby's feeding cues and preferences. Our Newborn nipple is our slowest and most gentle flow and is typically recommended when the Slow Flow is still too fast for a little one.
