These are the only bottles my breastfed baby will consistently drink from at daycare, which is the only reason I keep buying them. Unfortunately, the quality has been incredibly disappointing.

The original nipples that came with the bottles split at the feeding hole after only one or two uses. I assumed it was just a bad batch, so I replaced all of them with this style of nipple. Out of the 12 replacement nipples I purchased, one has already split at the hole after only a couple of uses.

We are very careful with them. They are hand washed, my baby does not chew on them, and we do not boil them or expose them to excessive heat. Despite treating them gently, the holes continue to split. That tells me this is a product quality issue, not user error.

I'm especially disappointed because these are the most expensive bottles and nipples I've purchased between my two children. I also feel locked into the product because it's the only bottle my son will accept. It's incredibly frustrating to spend this much money only to have to replace nipples after just a handful of uses. Even if they lasted a few months, I'd still be disappointed. With other bottle brands I used for my first son, I never had to replace a single nipple during the entire year he used bottles.

I've recommended this brand to many of my breastfeeding friends because the bottles work so well for breastfed babies. Unfortunately, I've since had to follow up with them and warn them about the durability issues I've experienced. It's frustrating, financially draining, and not what I'd expect from a premium-priced product.
