The silicone insert is designed to prevent air intake, but it sounds like it may not have been working as expected for you. Sometimes, small adjustments—like ensuring the milk bag is fully seated and centered before feeding—can help maintain consistent milk flow.

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. We're so glad you love the concept and design of the bottle! We apologize that it didn't meet your expectations for newborns. We appreciate your honest review and will definitely take your comments into consideration for future improvements. In the meantime, we recommend trying our slower newborn flow nipples for a better feeding experience with your little one. Air can only re-enter the bottle if there is compression but no suction on the nipple while the bottle is in an upright position. This can be common if your baby has a tendency to chomp on the nipple. Using the bottle in a traditional (inverted) bottle feeding position is an easy fix and will prevent any air from reentering, even if your baby chomps on the nipple.
