wide latch nipples 3-pack
- Description
Our NEW Wide Latch Nipple features a gently tapered, triangular profile made from soft, matte silicone that flexes and compresses during feeding. This gradual shape and matte texture is designed to support a baby's deep and wide latch and is engineered for minimal wear and tear.
Often recommended by lactation professionals for breastfed babies or those transitioning between breast and bottle, this nipple offers a more flexible feel, grippier texture and a wider base that may help babies who struggle with shallow latch, slipping, or chewing on more structured nipples. While no bottle nipple can replicate breastfeeding, this evidence-informed design provides another thoughtful option to support your baby’s unique feeding preferences.
Available in three flow rates (newborn, slow, fast) to grow with your baby, the Wide Latch Nipple complements our Classic Nipple — giving families choice, flexibility, and confidence as feeding needs evolve.
If you don't know which flow rate to start with, we recommend staring with the slow flow nipple and sizing up or down based on your individual baby's feeding cues. If baby dribbles large amounts of milk, the flow rate is too fast. If baby cries and seems frustrated, the flow rate is too slow. If baby seems satisfied and only dribbles milk minimally, the flow rate is likely correct.
Fits all Babaloo bottles and collars.

wide latch nipples 3-pack
He's Just as gassy using these as air gets inside while he feeds, have to keep taking the bottle away and squeezing the air out. Very annoying as its not cheap!! Especially from the UK with the 20 quid shipping!! Plus, they dont even pass the triangle test :(
Hi Chloe,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience we really appreciate it. Our bottle is designed to stay airless, but what you’re describing can sometimes happen depending on how the nipple is being used during a feed. Because our nipple requires both suction and gentle compression to release milk, if there’s compression without suction (like chomping or biting), a bit of air can enter. If that’s happening, feeding in a more traditional, slightly tilted position can help keep the system fully airless throughout the feed.
We’d really love to help you get a smoother experience if you’re open to it, feel free to reach out to our customer support team (support@babaloo.us) so we can troubleshoot with you directly.
And just to share, our newer wide-latch nipple design was created to support a deeper, more secure latch and has been tested to meet triangle test standards. We truly appreciate you giving Babaloo a try and are here to help however we can
The wide latch nipples have been such a great addition to our feeding routine. The shape feels much more natural, which made it easier for my baby to latch comfortably right away. I’ve noticed a smoother, more consistent feeding experience with less frustration, especially during transitions between breast and bottle.
They’re soft, flexible, and clearly designed with both baby and parent in mind. I also appreciate how well they pair with the bottle system to support a more comfortable feed overall.
If you’re looking for a nipple that better mimics a natural latch and helps make feeding feel more intuitive, these are absolutely worth trying.
We’re really grateful you took the time to share your experience! We’re so happy to hear the Wide Latch has helped make feeding feel smoother and more comfortable, especially during those transitions. That’s something we care deeply about, and it means so much to know it’s making a difference for you and your little one.
Thank you again for trusting us to be part of your routine it truly means a lot! If you ever need anything or have any questions, we’re always here and happy to help.
I purchased all the wide nipple flows and they all work for a day or two and then they loose suction and allow air in the bag which defeats the purpose of no air and anti gas mechanism

I think this shape is much better than a traditional bottle nipple, they are not just for babies who can and do latch wide, but also for babies who need support with a wide latch. I’d say if you are combo feeding bottle and breast, this shape is much better! It feels much more like the shape of a breast and my baby easily transfers between the two. I noticed a huge difference in his latch on the breast when I swapped the nipples on his bottles for these wide ones. They’re a must-get!
Hi Lauren,

If you ever need anything or have any questions, we’re always here and happy to help. We’re so glad to have you as part of the Babaloo family
Baby couldn’t get anything out. Horrible product.
Hi Makayla,
Thank you for sharing this we really appreciate you giving our wide latch nipples a try. Our nipples are designed to work with active suction and compression, so they don’t release milk passively. For some babies especially if they’re used to faster-flow or dripping bottles it can take a little time to adjust, and in some cases a different flow or style may be a better fit.
We’d truly love to help you find something that works better for your little one. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at support@babaloo.us and we’d be happy to troubleshoot and support you however we can
